Strut your Mutt Walk Saturday, October 5th 9am to 12pm
Did someone say dogs?!
Strut your Mutt is a series of charity dog walks that bring communities together to raise money and save the lives of homeless animals! Come out & walk with us or donate to our partnering rescue Dogs XL!
Dogs XL specializes in finding homes for large dogs (typically 50lbs+). Large dogs are often first to be put to sleep in shelters because medical treatment and food for large dogs is more expensive than for small dogs. Large dogs also take up more space at the shelter and on transports to adoptive families. Although owning a large dog is not for everyone, large dogs have many unique and endearing qualities. Dogs XL believes the larger the dog, the more there is to love!

2nd Annual Back-to-School Backpacking Event Wednesday, August 21st 6pm to 8pm
There are more than 13,000 students in Howard County who qualify for free and reduced lunch—an indicator of poverty. We all know that school supplies are expensive. Having school supplies is a critical first step to help a student feel at ease, achieve higher literacy levels, improve academic performance, and graduate.
Help us achieve our goal to fill 25 backpacks for our deserving students by donating in the link below!
